Wow - my fan club is amazing already! I was only introduced to the web this afternoon and already I have a lot of questions to answers!!
I was a normal pregnancy and quite enjoyed being inside a warm tummy - but a few days before I was born, my circumstances changed and my mum was brought in to a stable. At first, all the signs told the people in the know that I was ready to be born and that my mum was just slowing down because she needed some space to let me arrive. But I wasn't allowed out just yet and Mum said she wasn't ready and felt a bit poorly instead.
I was born at 9 am and my Mum was feeling a bit rough, so she worked really hard to get me out in to the fresh air - and boy was it fresh! I thought that the big world would be nice and warm too - instead it was cold!
Mum was so tired that she didn't want much to do with me - it turned out that she was way too poorly in the end to look after me, so the big people got me up and started drying me with towels and a hair dryer - nice! I tried to take milk from mum - but it didn't taste nice - so instead the big vet man took blood from my half brother, rushed it off somewhere and brought back the plasma to drip back in to me - all very strange! But then I got to move house whilst they looked after my mum - the 'tack room' which had a heater I could lie against and got loads of rugs to cuddle up to - and some weird 80's leg warmers made from bubble wrap! I stayed there for a few days until the big people knew what was happening!
They kept trying to get me to take milk from mum, but it was not very nice and she wasn't well enough to produce it - so instead I got some warm D&H replacer milk - that was yummy! Mum died a couple of days later and it made me a bit sad...but the big people are looking after me now and I like it when the little big people are home from school - I can almost run as fast as them now!
They've been trying to find me a new Mum, but without success so far - they're all too big! But I'm happy with my milk and even get to now share a stable with some little white woolly things that get milk too - I can chase them too! I'm soon to get to meet another horsey friend who is going to teach me some horsey stuff - I hope they like me!
